Founded in 1892 and remains Perth’s oldest synagogue. Located in Menora, Perth and providing modern orthodox services it is a focal point for those who have a traditional observance of Judiasm. Led by Rabbi Dan and Rebbetzin Leiberman the shule provides a full range of daily, Shabbat and after school educational programmes.
It is certainly worth a visit at it is the Historic conrnerstone of Jewish life in Western Australia.


Formed in the late 1990’s by a committed core of Modern Orthodox devotees with a more orthodox vision of how a community should function. Diversifying away from the legacy and trappings of a typical Hebrew congregation, the shule has become the go to destination for followers of the orthodox tradition in Perth.
The vibrancy and welcoming nature of the shule and its community has made it a legendary destination, creating wondeful memories for those visitors passing through or residing in Perth.
Located in Dianella in the main HUB of the Perth Jewish Community it provides daily and shabbat services along with a cheder programme from Years 3 to 12 and community adult learning during the week.
With a strong focus on Torah Study and community learning the shule is the official Mizrachi Partner in Perth and the home of the Tzevet Programme.
The community is led by Rabbi Marcus Solomon and assisted by Rav Natan Katzel to create a hub for those seeking deeper study and spiritual growth.
Chabad of WA and Northern Suburbs Hebrew Congregation operated in competition with each other until both communities realised that working together would lead to better community outcomes.
Since the merger the shule operates from Garson Court, Noranda and provides traditional prayer services along with education, women’s and special holiday events.
Lead by Rabbi Shalom White the shule targets those who are new or returning to Judaism with an inclusive programme and mentoring dealing with issues arising from mixed marriages, rebellious teenagers and those needing more guidance and support.


Kol Sasson operates on shabbat only and is the home for those used to following and participating in Sephardi services
